The Artefice Paper Mache Bowl is handcrafted from eco-friendly papier mache and has a chalky, limewash like texture. With a functional size, use it to display favourite found objects or simply admire it for the soft organic warmth it brings to spaces. Made from recycled newspaper, they are entirely natural and sustainable. First the newspaper is mixed with water, then chalk and tree sap crystals are added to turn the substance into a clay-like material. The pulp is kneaded into chapati-like forms, then rolled and moulded into the sculptural objects we love. There is no firing, no power used, and the process is entirely eco-friendly. Each piece will have subtle differences in finish and these variations are part of the handmade appeal. Porous in nature, papier mache should not be exposed to liquids.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund or replacement if available. We may require photos of the item and packaging to process your request.
Returns for Other Reasons If you wish to return an item for any other reason, the following conditions apply:
- The item must be properly re-packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.
- You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. We will inform you of the return shipping fee before proceeding.
- The return package must be shipped within 14 days of your original delivery date.
